In 2014, my sons, Will (BA Western) and Matt (BA Brock, CSC) joined me to establish the Miller Group. I’ve been blessed and honored to work beside my children. Meet Will Miller

As a Broker, Investor and Landlord, my real estate experience and expertise will give you peace of mind throughout the process of buying or selling your home.

Living and working in St. Catharines has given me a great appreciation and passion for the Niagara Region. I am actively involved in local sports (hockey, golf, tennis) and clubs across Niagara, which has given me intimate knowledge of each and every municipality. My knowledge of the region and dedication to my clients allows me to offer the highest level of customer satisfaction.
I have over 15 years’ experience in customer service and sales and if there’s one thing that I’ve learned, it’s that your life and business practices should always follow the Golden Rule, “Treat others as you would like to be treated.”

I graduated from the University of Western Ontario with a B.A and began my business career in hospitality management while pursuing opportunities as a stage and television actor. Working in Niagara Falls and Niagara on the Lake for some of the local reputable restaurants started my love of customer service and of course, food. After gaining some valuable experience, I gave into my thirst for adventure and took a job overseas teaching English in Seoul, South Korea, which led to an epic backpacking trip across South East Asia, travelling through Thailand, Laos, Indonesia and Malaysia.

I perfected my customer service skills and business management working in Toronto as an Event and Operations Manager for the renowned Distillery District. After 2 successful years in The Big Smoke, I succumbed to my passion for Niagara and returned to St. Catharines to pursue a career in real estate.

I am a proud member of The Miller Group, a top producing family realtor team working at Royal LePage with a combined 25 years of real estate experience. Matt is as a trustworthy, hardworking individual who brings a terrific attitude and inspiring passion for Niagara to your family team. As a former NCAA hockey and soccer student-athlete he applies his outspoken work ethic, enthusiastic teamwork and support-system mentality to all of the Miller Group’s clients in a well communicated professional manner. Heavily involved in the sales and service industry for some time now, Matt is passionate about protecting his clients’ interests, yet always fair-minded and professional when working with his peers.

Aside from Real Estate, Matt is involved in the game of hockey as Junior B Hockey Coach with our local St. Catharines Falcons Organization.

Matt has a B.A. from Brock University, and completed his Canadian Securities Course.

Help you understand what you’re looking for:
  • We make sure you have a firm grasp on what you’re looking for and we may also try to challenge your thinking. There is an expression in this business ” Buyers are liars”. It sounds a little harsh but really it speaks to a commonality.
  • As an example, a buyer may ask to look at bungalows only. Searches are sent by email and appointments are made. Now 3 months into their search, they realize they want and need a two story home.
  • We ask you the right questions to help you understand what you really need and want to purchase, so time, energy and most importantly, opportunity are not wasted.
Help walk you through the process:
  • Out of the gate, we walk you through the process, explain our role and also address the hard questions of agency and dual agency upfront.
  • If you’d like, we can provide a blank copy of an Agreement of Purchase and Sale in our first meeting so that you can familiarize yourself with key terms.
  • Too many buyers see the contract the first time the night they are writing an offer with an agent. That’s not how we would like to be treated, so we won’t be doing that to you.

The Miller Group can show you any listing on We can also show you Builder’s developments. You tell us what you would like to see, and we will set up the appointment with the listing agent’s office.

Real Estate Agents are paid by the Buyer


The Seller provides the commission to the Listing Brokerage. Once the property closes,the Listing Brokerage pays the Miller Group. We only get paid once your sale is complete and monies have been transferred from the Buyer’s lawyer to the Seller’s lawyer.

A “Sale by Owner” property never pays a commission to a Real Estate Agent


More often than not, a Real Estate agent will represent a Buyer in a private sale or with a discount brokerage listing that is listed on It is rare that a Buyer and Seller will negotiate with out a professional involved. The stakes are high and little understanding of contract law can be risky business. Sure a lawyer will be involved, but they won’t be there for the home/cistern/water/ pool, septic/electrical/plumbing,foundation inspection, meetings with the planning department, zoning department, meeting with contractors/ meetings with the Seller, and the lawyer will charge you for their time….you get the idea.
